  1. Two things I found interesting were:
    1. In the 10 ways to make meeting more effective article I read about how to be punctual one what is said. As in if the meeting starts at 6 to make sure that everyone knows to be there at 6. Or even a few minutes before. To make sure that they know its not okay to walk in 5-10 minutes late.
    2. In the same article it was talked about the importance to not be distracted by side issues.
Something's that could improve weekly meeting this upcoming year compared to last year could be
1.To make sure the meetings are started on time and ended on time. The most frustrating thing I found last year was walking out of a meeting at 7:15 when it ended at 7.
    2. Making sure that the other members of RHA (the residents that are presenting their building/HECS) feel comfortable talking and making their ideas heard instead of the same 6 people every single meeting. But also making sure that they don't feel pressured to talked. Main goal is to make sure they feel comfortable and welcomed.
Two things that I will utilize with this upcoming year and weekly meeting is to make sure the member feel comfortable and important. If it weren't for them we as an origination wouldn't be what we are today. The student members are a big part of who and what we've become as an organization. The second thing would be to make sure the meeting/ budgets are running smoothly and everyone is happy.

  2. - I found the importance of the distribution of minutes I found interesting because it is one of my responsibilities. I also found the topic of starting and ending the meetings on time interesting because I know how people loose focus if it runs too long and how inconvenient it is if someone shows up late.
    - I think that providing material before the meeting will definitely help to improve weekly meetings. Sometimes we walked into meetings and didn't know what we would be discussing. It would be nice to get all of the information out ahead of time.
    - I will make sure the minutes are distributed in a timely manner because more people rely on them other than the people at the meets and myself. It will definitely keep everyone more organized and remind them of what was discussed last meeting. I will also like to give out material before the meeting so everyone can gather their thoughts on certain issues.
